O2 Pension Plan Review - The formal consultation period has now been completed and you should be receiving a letter from the company outlining the next steps.

As part of the package the union negotiated free financial advice which is completely independent from O2. As previously stated we would strongly recommend you take up this advice as it will be tailored to your individual circumstance.

Don’t Go In Alone - The O2 principal officers are still being informed by members that they are attending formal meetings without union representation. Please be aware that it’s very important that you exercise your right for union representation and inform the officers as soon as possible. Even if you believe that nothing can be done and you perceive the decision will go against you then please speak to your local officer. With our experience and expertise we can provide a different steer on the relevant matter once the documents have been perused.

Agreed By the Union - Please be wary of managers who tell you that something has been agreed by the union. There have been some instances that we are aware of recently where managers have incorrectly advised their team that targets have been agreed by the union. If you want to know the union’s position on any issue please speak to one of your Principal Officers or Workplace Representatives.
